I think the answer to my question is yes, and here's why.  When the longs I show in the newsletter stop working, that's warning sign number one.  When the market is near resistance (in this case the top of the trend channel), that's warning sign number two.

Add both together, and you have a time to be VERY cautious regarding the market.  I do show a few longs in the Picks section, but make sure you have exits in place for everthing.

As for last weeks' picks, more positive than anything else, although a lot of "net zero" moves.  That's troublesome.  Winners were JCI, WWE, ICE, and MAPP. The loser was CTXS.  The rest -- APH, PLXS, TUP, TPX, and VMED -- were all unchanged.
