It's during times like these where you really need the patience of Job. Yes, despite all the intraday fireworks, nothing's been resolved, as the S&P sits firmly below resistance. I do think the market is poised for an upside breakout, but you could also argue the market's had that chance, and we're equally poised for a DOWNside breakout. Well, no matter: nothing's forcing us to do a thing until we see a major move up or down. Until then, it's pretty much hand-sitting time. As for last week's picks, not too bad, although a few trades are unresolved. Winners were BAGL, HOGS and NTGR. The lone loser was ESC. Still pending are HANS, CMO, CPIX and REGN. |
