As many of you know, I wrote with Jim Cramer at theStreet.com and RealMoney.com for years.  Jim is, let's say, an interesting character.  But, regardless of what you think of him, I'll never forget one of his best lines.  It pertains to a stock that's just taken a real hit and Jim used to say it had "an unauthorized stock split."  Love that line.

Anyway, I bring that up, because Friday is an "unauthorized day off."  Oh, I wanted to trade and show you lots of picks, but there aren't any longs (I do like NFLX, but I just couldn't come up with a clean trendline....), and the market is too oversold to generate any shorts.

 Therefore, let's reconvene in February and tackle everything then!
